He’s
relatively short, his grandparents on his mum’s side are from Goa and both of
his parents are a waste of space, he’s perfectly fine without them, he has a
ridiculous obsession with movies and likes going 100mph on a road that’s meant
to be 50mph just to “get you home faster”. He religiously eats 2000Kcal a day
and drinks a litre protein shake before bed every night, consequently if he
doesn’t he’ll be in a stinking mood the next day so I’d advise avoiding all
contact. He loves Shepherd’s pie and drinks tea with 3 sugars purely because
then he thinks no one else will drink it – you thought wrong there bud. He
tickles underneath my bum because he loves the play type argument that always
happens afterwards where I claim to be stronger and we end up full on wrestling
until one of us win – unfortunately it’s normally him. He insists on calling my
parents “Mr and Mrs Charles” because that’s just the person he is. Impressively
he could fly a plane before he learned to drive (RAF) and has applied – I’m
pretty sure he’s guaranteed a place – to MIT, which is all he really wants, you
can tell just by talking to him about it, it’s one of the only things – besides
flying – that truly shows excitement in his eyes. He opted – and is very proud
of – his 2009 Seat Ibiza because it’s a 4 door, meaning it classifies as a “family
car” so his insurance is cheaper, but he refuses to have his college parking
permit permanently on display, so I have to look like a prat holding it up when
we drive into college grounds. He downloads the top 40 music charts religiously
every month, and is currently in denial that his favourite song is Little Me by
Little Mix. Can you tell I miss him? And that when he only wants to talk on his
terms – which is always at ridiculous times in the morning- I always reply too
late, or too aggressively, whatever the reason, I never get a reply, it’s kind
of like playing tennis on your own, but with way more emotional baggage. We were never even together, just grew pretty close I guess, but hey bud, I miss you.
